Congratulations - you're getting married! And so begins the countdown to one of the most important days of your life. It's a special day and we know you want it to be perfect.
Set on the outskirts of the historical town of Colchester, the Quality Hotel Colchester is the ideal setting for that small and intimage wedding. The Quality Hotel Colchester does not have a purpose built banqueting suite, however there are plenty of opportunities to hold a full Civil Service, your wedding breakfast or evening reception or to just enjoy one of our themed evenings.
We have four individual rooms to choose from for your wedding ceremony, wedding breakfast and evening reception:
THE CONSTABLE SUITE
Our largest suite, which is licensed for ceremonies for up to 60 guests, is available to hold your ceremony, wedding breakfast, and for the evening reception, can cater for up to 120 guests.
THE LAKE VIEW RESTAURANT
After your wedding ceremony, this is the ideal setting for daytime wedding breakfasts for up to 50 guests.
THE ESSEX ROOM AND THE BOARDROOM
We can offer something unique and special with a beautiful elegant setting and that extra personal touch to create an intimate atmosphere in one of our smaller private rooms. We can offer an à la carte menu choice for these special occasions. Again, they are both licensed for smaller civil
ceremonies and wedding breakfasts.
