Within the town you will find The Valley Gardens, a wonderful garden which includes a café, crazy golf, pitch and put, tennis courts, children's playground , boating pond and a walk into the Pinewoods which takes you to Harrogate's second Betty's Café Tea Rooms at RHS Garden Harlow Carr.
The nearby stunning Yorkshire Dales and breathtaking landscape with rolling green hills and heather carpeted moorland include Nidderdale, a local area of outstanding natural beauty.
Within a half hour's drive, you can also easily visit the cities of Leeds and York or go to the races at Ripon.
